Yesterday Phil Firth rode to success, completing the Challenge Cancer Trans Pennine Cycle. Starting from Leeds in the cold, dark, early hours of Sunday morning, Phil rode all the way to Manchester and back to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Pretty much everyone I know has been affected in one way or another by this dreadful disease. This is my way of remembering family and close friends who have suffered. I am raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support who do an amazing job supporting patients and families during and after.
– Phil Firth
Phil cycled over 120 miles during the ride, through tiredness in the night with low visibility & on a route consisting of challenging sustained hills. At the time of writing, Phil has amassed a large total of £2384 – 95% of his target amount! Lets show our support, smash the £2500 figure and beat cancer together.
Well done Phil!
