St Mary’s Church is linked with Dunholme St Chad’s Church and Scothern St Germain’s Church, and together they form a benefice. We have been very lucky, in these past few years, that we have had a lot of help and support from Father Richard Crossland, and several of the retired clergy in and around the benefice.
We have just been part of a long process to find a new vicar that would suit the benefice, and enable it to grow in its ministry.
We are proud to announce that the new vicar for Welton, Dunholme and Scothern will be the Reverend Adam Watson. He is currently Assistant Curate of the Parish of the Resurrection Alton in the Diocese of Winchester.
He will be installed on Monday 28th July at St Mary’s Church, Welton.
